Position: Physician's Assistant GVHC Location: Ceres, Dos Palos, Gustine/Newman, Le Grand, Los Banos, Merced, Planada, Turlock, modesto, Patterson, Westley Department: Back Office Status: Full Time/Part Time Position Description: Under designated physician(s) supervision, the Physician's Assistant is to provide direct primary health care in accordance with the Golden Valley Health Centers Physician Assistant's Supervision Agreement, Golden Valley Health Centers Principles of Practice, and the California Administrative Code, Section 13799.541. the Physician's Assistant may be required to work scheduled evening clinic hours, and when appropriate, act independently as a solo provider of services under telephone communication with a physician supervisor. Qualifications & Requirements: Ability to speak Spanish is highly desirable. Graduation from an accredited physician's assistant school. Licensure by the California Board of Medical Examiners as a Physician's Assistant. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
