COVID-19 Vaccinations For 5-11 Years of Age

Golden Valley Health Centers (GVHC) will soon begin administering COVID-19 vaccines for pediatric patients between five (5) to eleven (11) years of age in Merced and Stanislaus counties.

Starting 11/03/21, CDC has approved the Pfizer vaccine for pediatric patients between 5-11 years of age.

“Golden Valley Health Centers is very excited about this new development. Being a pediatrician, and a mother of a qualifying child, I wanted us to start administering the vaccines as soon as possible. But considering the vials, supplies, and dosing are very different than other Pfizer vaccines, we wanted to make sure that our staff is trained to administer the right vaccine, at the right dose, and to the right patients before we roll it out.” States Dr. Priti Golechha from GVHC.

GVHC plans to administer the COVID-19 vaccine for Pediatric patients from 5-11 years starting November 8th, 2021 at select sites in both Stanislaus and Merced counties.  Supply is limited so please schedule your appointment now! Parents can call or text the number 866-682-4842 to book an appointment.
