What made you want to become a Provider?
I have always wanted to be a provider! As a child, I wanted to become a doctor because I love helping people and figuring out problems. When I got older, I decided to make having a family my number one priority. I chose to become a registered nurse and then later went back to school to become a nurse practitioner.
What do you wish you could tell every patient about their health and why?
I would tell every patient that their health is in their hands! No one knows your body and your health better than you do. Having patients be fully involved in their care results in the best outcomes and happiest patients! Every patient should also know about their annual screens, we do so many different screenings and tests that can prevent major medical problems in the future.

What do you like most about working at GVHC?
I enjoy working at GVHC because we can reach a large number of patients who may not otherwise have access to healthcare! I am also new to California, so I like to get to know and understand the different lifestyles of my patients and colleagues.
