A grand opening celebration for Golden Valley Health Centers’ (GVHC) new Modesto location at 1801 Tully Road will be held on Wednesday, March 4th from 12:00pm-1:30pm. Community members are invited to attend the celebration to:
- Tour the health center and meet the team
- Enjoy free snacks and refreshments
- Participate in raffle giveaways and prizes including 2 tickets to see Michael Bublé and Train (courtesy of Radio Merced and iHeart Media)
In July 2019, GVHC took over this location from Sierra Health Centers. GVHC began operation on August 1, 2019 out of a mobile medial unit while the facility was remodeled. The construction and remodel was complete by the end of November. It has been a priority for GVHC to make the transition as seamless as possible.
All support staff from Sierra Health Centers transitioned to GVHC and five new employees were hired. Currently, this health center has 8 exam rooms, 5 office spaces and proudly offers family medicine, women’s health, behavioral health, health education and chiropractic services. GVHC will be adding pediatrics in the coming months.
This is the eleventh GVHC site in Modesto, including two school-based health centers. GVHC offers family medicine, dental care, pediatrics, women’s health, chiropractic services, podiatry, health education, behavioral health, and optometry.
