The Dental Services Program is responsible for the delivery of quality dental services in the context of our integrated medical-dental ambulatory setting. The Director of Dental has overall responsibility for the effectiveness of the program and the quality of services. Since the Center’s operational goals are based on the belief that preventive health interventions yield cost/effective results both in support of community’s health and with respect to health care expenditures, the Dental Services Programs in addition to needed routine clinical services. The Director of Dental reports to the Chief Executive Officer. The Director of Dental also acts as a Staff Dentist and is responsible for providing (as appropriate) general dental services. Staff Dentists assist in establishing standards of dental service and developing organizational plans to carry out a team approach to comprehensive dental, medical, and nutritional service. When providing service as a Staff Dentist, this position will report to the Dental Manager at the facility.
