Her outstanding contributions and achievements have earned recognition from several elected officials, such as US Congressman John Duarte, CA Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil, CA Assemblyman Juan Alanis, Stanislaus County Board of Supervisor Channce Condit, Modesto Mayor Sue Zwahlen, and all the Modesto City Council Members.During her acceptance speech, Yamilet expressed her gratitude and dedicated the award to all the mentors who share their wisdom with up-and-coming Latino leaders in their community. She emphasized the importance of mentorship and how it plays a crucial role in shaping the future of the Latino community.Yamilet’s accomplishments have made her a role model for the Latino community.
