Melinda Marshall was promoted to the position of Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Golden Valley Health Centers in 2022. Melinda began her career at the Center in 1987, as a front office receptionist. Having served as a patient account biller, front office supervisor, site administrator, center manager, and for the past seven years, as a Director of Operations. Her personal mission has always been to help the underserved population in our community and advocate for community health centers, promoting access to quality health care with no barriers.
Melinda loves to see others succeed, and has mentored many employees at GVHC into leadership positions. She has an extensive history of dedication and service to Golden Valley Health Centers, having been honored with the following recognitions:
- Employee of the Year, 2004
- Golden Valley Health Centers Hero Award, 2016
- Employee of the Year, 2017
- GVHC Legend Award, presented by GVHC Foundation, 2017
Melinda has attended Merced College, taking Psychology and Business Administration courses. She attended the Clinic Leadership Institute in 2016-2017 and is continuing her education with Grand Canyon University.
