Golden Valley Health Centers now offer Virtual Urgent Care!

In today’s fast-paced world, access to quality healthcare has become more important than ever. Recognizing this need, Golden Valley Health Centers (GVHC) now has Virtual Urgent Care (VUC) as of June 20th, 2023. With VUC, patients can now conveniently connect with healthcare providers via video consultations, regardless of their physical location.

What is Virtual Urgent Care

Virtual Urgent Care is a healthcare service that allows patients to connect with healthcare providers remotely through video consultations. With the help of teleconferencing technology, patients can receive timely medical attention without the need to visit a physical healthcare facility. Through secure platforms like MyChart or Zoom, patients can discuss their symptoms, share vital information, and receive personalized care from the comfort and convenience of their own homes or any other location.

Convenience and Accessibility

One of the major advantages of GVHC’s Virtual Urgent Care service is its accessibility to all GVHC patients. Using platforms like MyChart or Zoom, patients can easily schedule virtual appointments and connect with a provider. Whether you’re at home, at work, or on the go, you can now receive urgent care without the need to physically visit a healthcare facility.

Expanded Hours and Services

Starting June 20th, 2023, Virtual Urgent Care will be available from Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 5 PM. However, GVHC doesn’t stop there. The hours of operation for VUC will expand even further on August 1st. Patients will then have access to Virtual Urgent Care from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 9 PM, and on Saturdays from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Easy Scheduling Process

Booking a virtual appointment with GVHC’s Virtual Urgent Care service is a breeze. Patients can simply call (209)722-4842 to receive care. The process is similar to scheduling any other appointment with GVHC. Once the VCU appointment is confirmed, patients can rest assured that they will receive prompt attention from a healthcare provider.

Building on the Lessons of the Pandemic

GVHC’s adoption of virtual urgent care visits reflects the healthcare industry’s innovative response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Telemedicine has proven to be an effective means of delivering healthcare services while ensuring the safety of both patients and providers. Golden Valley Health Centers leverages this technology to continue serving patients with the utmost care and convenience.
