PATIENT ELECTRONIC RECORDS SYSTEM – MYCHART
March 26, 2021- Golden Valley Health Centers (GVHC) is very excited to announce that on Thursday April 1stwe will be introducing a new patient electronic health records system, MyChart. MyChart will allow doctors, nurses, and staff to document and access critical patient information in order to make decisions about patient treatment as well as to improve the patients’ health care experience.
MyChart will tremendously improve the patient’s experience with GVHC as they will now be able to access all of their own medical records via this new secure online portal as well as be able to schedule appointments online, settle balances, view test results, view past visit notes, as well as communicate directly with their healthcare team. We believe that this new system will help to empower patients to take a more active role in their care to support their health and well-being.
As we transition to this new system, we would like to thank all of our patients for their continued patience. When attending your next appointment there may be some delays as we input your information and request additional forms to be completed. Some of these forms will be duplicates of forms you may have filled out or signed previously, however, with the new system it is required we request them again.
It’s important to note that you may receive two separate billing invoices. If you have questions regarding the billing, please refer to the number listed on the billing invoice.
We hope our patients are just as excited for MyChart as we are. We know this will provide our patients with a greater experience at GVHC and increase the care and attention each patient deserves.
