THINGS just got EPIC with MYCHART!
April 1st, 2021 – Our new patient electronic health records system is now live. Patients who wish to participate will be issued a MyChart activation code during their next clinic visit. This code will enable you to log in and create your own username and password. If you were not issued an activation code, you may call your primary care clinic to get one or ask to sign up during your next office visit. Once you have registered for MyChart you will be able to access your patient portal online as well as download the MyChart app on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
MyChart is a free service that offers patients personalized and secure on-line access to portions of their medical records. It allows patients to securely use the Internet to help manage and receive information about their health. With MyChart, you can use the Internet to:
- Request medical appointments. (Not available for dental patients).
- View your health summary from the MyChart electronic health record.
- View test results.
- Request prescription renewals.
- Access trusted health information resources.
- Communicate electronically and securely with your medical care team.
Golden Valley Health Centers (GVHC) is very excited to bring this new technology to our patients. We know this new patient portal will allow us to simplify and streamline our ability to provide high-quality health care services to our patients and community.
Please note that during our initial transition with our new software, appointments may take additional time as we may ask you for information that you may have previously given to us. This is to ensure accuracy for our systems. Thank you for understanding and being patient with us during this exciting time.
It’s important to note that you may receive two separate billing invoices. If you have questions regarding the billing, please refer to the number listed on the billing invoice.
