Turlock Farmers Market
The Turlock Farmers Market takes place every Saturday from 8am to 1pm for downtown family fun. The vendors are set up along Main St. (from Center St. to Palm St.) with fresh produce, great tasting food, sweet fruits, crunchy nuts, and much more!
Stanislaus County Fair
The Stanislaus County Fair, located in Turlock, California, opens every year in mid-July. It is the largest event in Stanislaus County. There are nightly celebrity concerts, performances on five stages, and over 30 food concessionaires. The fair shows over 30,000 local talent exhibits, over 1,750 animals, and more than 35 carnival rides.
The industrialization of Turlock began in the late 1800’s and since the early 1900’s Turlock’s business district has continued to prosper and grow. The City incorporated in 1907. Visit the Turlock Historical Museum at 108 S Center Street in the Heart of Historical Downtown Turlock to learn more about the culturally rich environment with large populations of Portuguese, Assyrian, Swedish, Hmong, Chinese, Greek, Hispanic, Japanese, Indian and various other nationalities residing here and in surrounding areas that have made our community what it is today.
