Making a Difference Gala

50th Anniversary Celebration

Golden Valley Health Centers is pleased to invite you to the GVHC Foundation’s Making a Difference Gala!

While Golden Valley Health Centers (GVHC) proudly celebrates 50 years of service to our community, the GVHC Foundation is a relatively new 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization developed in 2015 to support the work of the Health Center.

The Foundation exists to raise awareness and support. Our mission is to provide quality primary health care services to those who need us most, regardless of their financial ability. Funds raised by the Foundation creatively resource important projects like our annual Flora R. Martinez Nursing Scholarship program for local students, the Adopt-a-Family holiday gift drive for young patients from struggling families, the CARE fund (which supplements the cost of health-related services that are not aordable for many we serve), and more.

Your Health is Our Priority!

Golden Valley Health Centers is a private, non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center system serving California’s Central Valley since 1972. At Golden Valley Health Centers, we have built a business spanning half a century centered on meeting community healthcare needs across Merced, Stanislaus, and San Joaquin counties. In just 50 years, we have grown to serve nearly 150,000 patients each year through 45 clinical locations in the region.

The ideology that everyone should have equal access to healthcare has been central to Golden Valley’s work over the past five decades and remains our guiding principle today. From our humble beginning, our mission has been to improve the health of our patients by providing quality, primary health care services to people in the communities we serve regardless of language, financial or cultural barriers. 50 years later, this still holds true.

About Golden Valley Health Centers

Golden Valley Health Centers is a fully accredited FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) offering quality medical, dental, women’s health, pediatrics, behavioral health, vision, and other specialties at our health centers. Services also include urgent care, school-based health centers throughout the Central Valley, and most recently, PACE (a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly), which includes a day center offering a full array of quality of life and health services for seniors.

We partner with local government, community-based organizations, education, and health plans to ensure top-notch services are available to those who need us. Golden Valley Health Centers provides the largest service of our kind in the area, and we continue growing to meet the ever-increasing needs of the communities we serve! Because when everyone,
regardless of financial means, having access to excellent healthcare enhances the well-being of the whole community.
