Where did you complete your undergrad, medical, internship, residency, and fellowship?

Undergrad: University of Colorado at Colorado Springs
Medical School: Des Moines University
Internship: Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan
Residency: JPS Sports Medicine Fellowship in Arlington, Texas

What made you want to become a Physician?

I enjoy being able to help people, and becoming a physician has enabled me to do it for a living!

What do you wish you could tell every patient about their health and why?

In Sports Medicine, providers can provide patients with recommendations and guidance, but often the result is in the patient’s hands!

What do you like most about working at GVHC?

I enjoy watching patients improve their function, quality of life and helping them to get back to their sports or activities.

Fun Facts About You!

I have competed internationally in Olympic-style wrestling and I am a world bronze medalist in freestyle wrestling. In my spare time, I participate in Jiu-Jitsu.

Golden Valley Health Centers is a private, non-profit federally qualified health center system that has served California’s Central Valley for over 49 years. GVHC provides comprehensive primary medical, dental, behavioral health, health education, and eligibility screening to a diverse population across Merced, Stanislaus, and San Joaquin Counties. GVHC currently has over 45 health centers and counting. GVHC’s mission is to improve the health of their patients by providing quality, primary health care services to people in the communities they serve regardless of language, financial or cultural barriers.
